Visual artist Born in Barcelona, I live and work in Amsterdam. I hold a Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona and returned to full-time studio practice after several years working as an art teacher. During that time, I developed an extensive archive of found materials and photographs through sustained collecting and travel. This material and visual vocabulary now underpin my work, where an evolving language continues to take shape. This return follows a personal turning point that has made the work more urgent and necessary. Working with sculptural assemblage in mixed materials, I use raw wool sourced in the Netherlands, reclaimed fabrics, salvaged wood, debris and found objects as elements of weight, tension and structural instability. My practice explores the relationship between material fragility and simple architectural frameworks, reflecting an underlying existential tension between vulnerability and structure. Through processes of fusion, pressure, layering, and structural tension, materials become interdependent and undergo irreversible transformation. I do not impose form; I respond to what is already there. Forms are allowed to remain unstable, exposed or unfinished. Gravity functions as both physical force and structural condition. Vertical and horizontal axes recur as minimal frameworks capable of holding instability, suspension, and collapse. Organic matter and constructed forms coexist in friction, investigating how systems hold, fail, and transform. Alongside assemblage, my practice also extends into site-specific interventions. Through minimal gestures—often a single horizontal mark of charcoal—I respond to latent structures within abandoned architectures, revealing tensions already embedded in the space. These ephemeral actions operate as drawings in situ, where the work emerges through the encounter between gesture, material residue, and the wounded logic of the built environment.
